STREET CLOSINGS
WORLD BANK/IMF MEETINGS AND THE MARCH FOR WOMEN'S LIVES
The following streets will be closed from approximately 11:00 PM on Friday,
April 23rd, 2004. Until approximately 6:00 AM on Monday, April 26th, 2004
Ø 17th Street NW, from I Street to E Street NW.
Ø 18th Street NW, from I Street to E Street NW.
Ø 19th Street NW, from I Street to E Street NW.
Ø 20th Street NW, from Pennsylvania Avenue to E Street NW.
Ø H Street NW, from Connecticut Avenue to 21st Street NW.
Ø G Street NW, from 17th Street to 21st Street NW.
Ø F Street NW, from 17th Street to 21st Street NW.
Ø Pennsylvania Avenue NW, from 17th Street to 20th Street NW.
In conjunction with the March for Woman's Lives, the following Streets will be closed from approximately 11:30 AM until 4:30 PM: Sunday, April 25, 2004.
Ø Constitution Ave. will be closed from 3rd Street to 23rd Street NW
Ø Pennsylvania Ave. will be closed from 3rd Street to 15th Street NW
Ø The 9th and 12th Street tunnels, crossing Constitution Avenue will be closed during the parade. Motorists are directed to utilize
the Third Street tunnel.
Ø 17th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue SW, and F Street NW
Ø 15th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue SW, and F Street NW
Ø 14th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue SW, and F Street NW
Ø 13th Street will be closed between Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and E Street NW
Ø 12th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue NW, and E Street NW
Ø 11th Street will be closed between Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and E Street NW
Ø 10th Street will be closed between Constitution Avenue NW, and E Street NW
Ø 9th Street will be closed between Constitution Avenue NW, and E Street NW
Ø 7th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue SW and E Street NW
In addition, the following Streets crossing the National Mall may be closed for safety reasons between the hours of 9:30 AM until 10:00 PM, April 25,
2004 for the rally on the National Mall associated with the March for Women's Lives:
Ø 7th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue and
Constitution Avenue NW
Ø 4th Street will be closed between Independence Avenue and
Constitution Avenue NW
