As usual for NJ Pride day, the first Sunday in June, Shore Area NOW sponsored a float in the Asbury Park Pride Parade.  Activity started a week before with design, development, and construction of the float.  NOW's theme this year, as has often been the case, was same sex marriage.

Below, Beth and Bear are figuring out how to create a wedding arch (or two) on the bed of Mariann and Chad's pickup truck.

Alan, Emily, and Jodie are attaching flowers to wedding arches-to-be.

On pride morning, members of Shore Area NOW, Middlesex County NOW, Rutgers NOW, Morris County NOW, and NOW-NJ's president, Suzannah Porter, posed for a picture before the noon-time step-off of the parade.  The Equal Marriage rounds are part of National NOW's same-sex marriage initiative.
