An Educational Demonstration

at the Promise Keepers conference

Wachovia Center, Philadelphia

 June 25^th, 2005!

In the guise of “family values,” the Promise Keepers advocate that women should remain in the home as second class citizens or “vessels” for men in all aspects of social, economic, and public life.

 Help us educate the Promise Keepers and the community that “Real Men Support Women’s Equality” and that “NOW Values Families” through women’s economic rights, not women’s subordination. We suggest that you bring your fathers, brothers, and children of all ages with you to the demonstration! Let’s send a message to the Promise Keepers that they do not hold the moral authority on men, women, and the family!

 You can get to the Wachovia Center on your own, but we will need to know how many people will be there each day. We will set up carpools through the chapter if needed and/or provide directions. We will also provide signs!
