One Week Shore House at Barnegat Light

Can you believe this beach is in New Jersey?

This is Barnegat Light, the northernmost town on Long Beach Island (exit 63 on the Garden State Parkway).  The two bedroom apartment with terrace is five houses away from the beach in the photo.  It is the most beautiful spot in the state.

Barnegat Light is also the home of the lighthouse, "Old Barney," which is within walking distance (six blocks) of the two bedroom upstairs apartment in a two family house.  There are daily fishing boats which depart from the marina (one-half mile away) and a diner and restaurant within walking distance.  There are bicycles, a canoe and a kayak which the owner keeps at the bay nearby.  Available for one week in early June or late September.  Rental price through a realtor is $500.  Minimum bid is $300.
