Hand-crafted mirror

Hydrangea leaves were pressed into stoneware clay to make this impression. The flat clay slab was then shaped and fired at 2000 degrees. A palette of powdered stains was used to fill in the colors of autumn. 16" x 16". By Mary Martire Contemporary Claywork.
