Recently my male co-workers
tried to engage me in a conversation concerning the issue of ladies'
night. Knowing I am a feminist, they seized the opportunity to
make a joke of the issue of equality. I took a second to give this
a thought and answered back, "Women should get a 26 percent
discount on everything. After all, we make only 74 cents to your
dollar." The chiding abruptly ended!
