The first Star-Ledger/Eagleton Rutgers Poll conducted after the New Jersey gubernatorial primary on June 7 reveals that front-runner Senator Jon Corzine’s edge over Republican nominee Doug Forrester is a shallow one, with voters divided over which candidate is best able to handle two of the key issues facing the state:  property taxes and corruption.
